Hi, I’m currently researching a topic related to data management in the food and FMCG industries. I’m interested in what happens when someone still has to manually compile data from multiple systems, Excel spreadsheets, emails or online portals for decisions regarding production, raw material procurement or retail distribution. If any of you have experience with this, I’d be grateful if you could answer just four questions quickly, either here or via private message.

I'm not selling anything. I just want to understand the current environment.

  1. When making a strategic decision about company, production, procurement or distribution, is the necessary data readily available, or does someone first have to compile it from ERP systems, Excel spreadsheets, network portals and other sources?
  2. When was the last time that an incomplete data set slowed you or your team down, complicated your work, or prevented you from working?
  3. In the last 12 months, has an automation or AI project of yours stalled due to issues with data access, quality, or fragmentation?
  4. Would it interest you to be able to ask the system a question such as “Show me the top five customers who are leaving us, along with their margin and last contact”, and receive an answer in a few seconds?
