Trying to figure out our bedding situation and the more I research, the more overwhelmed I feel.

My husband is a terrible sleeper, and I can sleep through basically anything, so I’m trying to build everything around what will make him comfortable. Anything I prefer is just a bonus if we can make it work.

I thought I had at least decided on sheets (Frette), but now I’m second guessing that too… but the main thing I’m stuck on is the duvet/comforter situation.

More details below. Would love any thoughts or recommendations!

Husband:

• Sleeps hot.
• Has been trying different layered situations but can’t get it right. Either always too hot or too cold.
• Top sheet hater
• Is worried about bedding being noisy or feeling clumpy

Me:

• Overwhelmed
• Loves fluffy beds, billions of pillows, etc
• Prefers low maintenance situations (prefers one bedding setup vs switching out seasonally, if I have to sew in my own duvet tie/loop I will perish, etc)

Us:

• Would like to sleep under the same bedding
• Budget isn’t a primary concern, and we are willing to spend more for something that’s supremely comfortable and well-made
• Not sure if it’s relevant to selecting bedding but we are sleeping on a king Purple RejuvenatePlus Mattress with a Purple Waterproof Mattress Protector.
