Hey cleaning hivemind, I have an older house that had water damaged floors when we bought it. We are saving up to replace/refinish them, but until then, what is the most effective way to clean them, without causing further damage to the spots where the protective coating is gone and it’s started to warp?

It’s hard to get a good photo of it, but the pale spot has some major bowing and warping.
