Waveshare ESP32-S3-LCD-7B brains and 1024x600 display. Keyboard is a ch552t based mod (serial instead of usb) of a keyboard from github.com/keyboard-labs. 5000mAh lipo complements the setup. Much simpler than the original Pi based version. Also, slimmer (compact, my man), 20mm high instead of 30. Firmware is under development. It currently supports a web based file interface. Firmware can be updated OTA. Everything will become available on github.
