








I made a post about this project a few months ago but I'd like to share the improvements I made!
I'm hoping to one day make an indie game featuring this character - but for now I'm just trying to learn blender :)

I've created a walk cycle that I'm pretty proud of. I decided she should walk with a cane which I think adds a lot to her character just at a first glace. It's a little rough around the edges but if you don't look to closely I think it looks good overall.
>If you walk with a cane, I'd like to hear your input!! It's hard to find reference videos and I don't walk with a cane so it's a lot of guess work
(Her left leg (right hand side of the images) is the weak leg)
i added some cloth physics to the skirt and body just so that the animation dosen't feel so stiff
but I still need to decide how I will rig the hair because right now it's completely static
I like the flat shaded look, but there's some harsh shadows on the face that I don't like but I'm not very sure how to avoid them
I do worry a bit that her proportions are maybe too exaggerated. I wan't to keep her silhouette interesting but I don't want it to distract from the rest of her character. So i'd appreciate some input on that
