▲ 3 r/CreditCards
I am looking to replace my Quicksilver credit due to its move to Discover network and the fact that I regularly use it while abroad (Europe mostly)
• Current cards (both have high credit limits):
• CapitalOne Quicksilver
• CapitalOne Savor (Joint credit card with husband)
• FICO Score: 820
• Oldest account age: 20+ years
• Income: $100K+
• Average monthly spend and categories:
(groceries and dining go on the Savor joint credit card, this is just my own spending)
• Other services (spas, donations, gym etc) 20%
• Merchandise: 20%
• Dining: 15%
• Travel: 10%
• Open to Business Cards: No
• What's the purpose of your next card? Maximize cashback while retaining travel benefits (no FTF, CDW) ideally no annual fee
• Do you have any cards you've been looking at? No
• Are you OK with category spending or do you want a general spending card? I don’t think category spending would work best for me from what I’ve seen
