Hello, any foreign students here who match the following criteria?

1. non-EU student
2. needed a student visa
   and
3. staying at a friend's place for free during study period or Erasmus exchange in Latvia

What kind of document(s) did you submit to prove your place of residence in Latvia for the student visa application? A letter to prove property owner’s permission of stay? Or a rental contract with rent = 0 Eur?

Or do you know which authority/ies i should enquire? Thank you very much! : )
