New Nespresso Vertuo Up - nozzle not working
I've got a brand new Nespresso Vertuo Up and I've followed the 'How To' videos, connected the app and tried to go through the 'first use/clean' process - but nothing will come out of the front nozzle where the cup goes.
Running a first use clean, the water gets pumped into the machine from the water tank, but nothing comes out of the cup nozzle - it just starts to back-fill inside the machine into the capsule trap/tray inside. Then starts to overflow and leak onto my cabinets.
I've tried all the settings I can, empty pipes, descaling, clean - but all of them run, but nothing comes out of the front - they just fill up inside and leak out everywhere.
I've been able to get a cocktail stick from inside the capsule end of the nozzle, but that doesn't help.
I've also tried running it with a capsule in to make a hot drink, but still nothing comes out of the front - the hot drink ends up in the internal tray, which I nicely then poured into my cup to test it.
The capsule is getting pierced - that side of it works, and the water tank drains the water out, but just nothing is going to the front nozzle.
Has anyone had this issue or knows what to do?
This is a relatively new model so there isn't much online support, and Nespresso support isn't open on Sundays in the UK.
It's a brand new machine with no damage in transit.
