I feel these are getting significantly worse.

I was out on a ride today and had several cars overtake me without moving over due to oncoming traffic as though I wasn’t there (for context I was in reflective gear in broad daylight with my rear light on). Was genuinely getting worried if I’d make it home.

Does anyone have any tips for encouraging cars to overtake safely? I get it’s frustrating being held up, and I pull over when I can to let cars past, but I’m finding myself looking over my shoulder very often to figure out when I’m going to have to buckle down and prepare for another close pass.
