A sudden thought.

While calling Casper in ADWD1, I was thinking that it would obviously be in full-screen mode since it's a one-on-one chat.

In ADWD2, we've only had the chance to do group calls so far, and even when 5012 disconnected, the view didn't swap to 0213's full-screen view, since duh, it's a group call still, even if 1 of 3 members is gone.

What if, when we eventually start doing one-on-one calls with 0213 and 5012, their view will actually be in full-screen mode, as if in ADWD1?

Maybe I just want to see their sprites and backgrounds better...yeah...

I hope it's the right flair. I'm not even sure if what i wrote make sense, but oh well.

I was talking to Dad about buildings and home renovations in general. While he was explaining that my new table needs to be wide enough for me to lie on it with my arms fully extended - because you always fall asleep on it and then complain about how sore your arms are from dangling from the corner - it kind of hit me.

I've always struggled with body measurements, but ask me to draw you a plan for a wardrobe and it's easy.

So I spent a day loosely looking at myself, and this is what I have now:

- To figure out where to place the ears, trace a line from the nostrils and eyebrows.
- The length of the palm is the same as the length of the middle finger (with knuckle)
- How to phrase it... To understand the length of each finger joint, basically split the length of the full finger (including the knuckle) in half, then split that in half again to get the length of the two remaining joints.
- How do you call it in English? Basically, the first finger roughly reaches past the knuckle line.
- I'm not sure if it's just how I see my hands, but the middle finger isn't actually placed in the middle of the palm, but slightly to the side. Because when I traced a line through the middle of the palm, it actually ended in the empty space between the middle and ring fingers.
- Your palm should roughly cover half of your face.
- The length of the thigh is roughly the same as the length of the calf (without the knee).
- I'm not sure about this one, but the length of the arm should end somewhere near the crotch line?

Aaand... that's it for me for now. Basically, when i started to treat the body not as a... body, but as some sort of structure (like a wardrobe), it was easy for me to grasp it's measurements.

I'm not sure why, but the - adult body is 7 heads tall - sentence never worked for me.

AND YET when i noticed these things, my brain suddenly started to work and EVERYTHING started to make sense. Maybe i'm just slow to understand things, who knows. But it feels like i've given my brain a huge gulp of water after 5+ years of artblock, i don't remember the last time i wanted to draw so badly.

So, for those of you who are more advanced in anatomy, could you share measurements and tips like these for the rest of the body? Maybe even for specific muscle groups?

Thanks!
