Okay, so the first thing you need to know is that I left this group already due to a plethora of issues, mostly centering around the DM losing my trust and not having control of the table. However a few of my friends are still in the group and I'm hearing some things that are worthy of this sub. The most recent is the DM being absolutely not as obvious as they think they are.

Essentially the DM will drop something on the group, and pause, expecting gasps of shock and surprise...and he gets absolutely nothing. Because whatever hints he thinks he's dropped have *not* been obvious at all.

This happened again apparently this week, and the DM tried to put it back on the party, telling them they should read their notes more! Now look, there's players in that group who are absolutely oblivious and would miss hints. There's also players who are bad with not always paying attention (especially because this DM doesn't set that as an expectation...whole other issue), so I could also see that happening. But when the entire group of four isn't picking up what you're putting down...it's not them, it's you!
