Hi everyone,

My mum ( 69 years young) is going to have her hip replaced tomorrow via anterior incision. Since she lives alone I want to assist her the best way possible and for the first week i am going to move back to her house.
It's the first time for both of us, as patient and caregiver, and wanted to ask your experiences and how you wanted/needed to be helped in the daily activities.
Also if one week post op it's safe to leave her alone for the day since I can only afford to take one week of work leave.
Each and every experience and advice would be so helpful!
