As the title says.
My backyard retains too much water and I'm too broke to approach any meaningful landscaping to promote drainage.
So, if I don't have to mow back there, I don't need to spend much time out there. It's fine for the dogs and the rest of the family, because they are tiny lightweights. But I'm a big fella and I sink right in like Artax on his last day.
I need a sog-loving plant that is going to stay low to the ground. Google recommended sedge, but that mop looks nowhere close to being no mow.
Ideas?
