my qualifications is 12th PCB, this was my second drop year for NEET. i won’t be getting a medical college this year, but that’s alright, i never wanted to do this anyway. my parents forced me into it.
i am very interested in research, especially something in astronomy. since i do not have maths, i would be more leaning towards astrobiology. i have filled out forms for CUET, IAT & NEST.
now, for CUET, if i have to choose a bachelors degree, what would you recommend for my interest in astrobiology? can anyone guide me with a roadmap for this? i heard bioinformatics is also useful but you don’t necessarily need a degree to do that, only skills.
also, apart from that, what exactly can you do with a masters and doctorate in these fields such as biotech or microbiology?
please do not hate me on here for this, i am already shit scared with everything right now. i will probably be scoring around 290-300 this year, and my parents are hell bent on wanting me to become a doctor. this was my second drop, a lot of things happened in between, but anyway, i cannot do NEET again. i just don’t want to regret by selecting the wrong college. i know most private colleges too have a cut off which sometimes goes as high as government colleges too. please help me out on this. i guess i will be taking an education loan. i currently have no idea which is best and not way too expensive either. can you give me an average idea of the fee structure of colleges and which you think would be a right choice?
