How is GPA calculated for people with more than one degree program in gradschool?

So, a tad bit of context:

I am an upcoming 3rd semester Master's student at a small-ish commuter state school who made a bit of an oopsie that grows more apparent the longer I think on it.

My major and research focus is in Geochemistry and applying that to icy moons and comets. As part of my plans for a PhD, I decided to take some physics and astronomy courses to better appeal to prospective planetary science or observational astronomy programs. Two classes turned into more than that; and as it stands, I was (easily cornered) convinced into just getting a Second Bachelors in Physics while working on my thesis.

My MS classes are essentially completed with a 3.9GPA, but the 2BS courses are... lets say less than stellar...

The pedagogy is completely different than what I experienced in my 1BS in geo (or even my MS for that matter, who woulda thunk that...) and I'm slowly realizing that doing a bachelors in physics in 3 semesters may have been WAY too overambitious.

Which gives rise to the questions before you:

  1. How is GPA for Second Bachelors degrees calculated?

  2. Is it part of Graduate GPA or is it still considered Undergrad GPA?
