•Importing fresh Japanese seafood (uni / sea urchin) via air freight

•Shipments will be small volume initially (pilot stage), but aiming to scale

Need support with:

•Customs clearance (FDA, Prior Notice, FSVP familiarity)

•Perishables handling at airport (BOS preferred)

Cold storage / cross-docking / last-mile coordination

What I’m specifically looking for:

•Companies that are hands-on with perishables/seafood, not just general freight forwarders

•Willing to work with small importers / low initial volume

•Ideally offer integrated service or at least strong coordination between clearance + cold chain

If you’ve worked with someone solid (or if you’re in the space), I’d really appreciate any recommendations or insights.
