Sharing my current portfolio — I’d love to hear your thoughts.
Current allocation:
- Index funds (~68.5%):
• Fidelity MSCI World Index Fund → 41.57%
• Fidelity MSCI Emerging Markets → 17.08%
• Fidelity S&P 500 Index Fund → 9.82%
- Individual stocks (~20.8%):
• UnitedHealth Group → 9.05%
• Sony → 6.39%
• Novo Nordisk → 4.98%
• NVIDIA → 0.41%
- Thematic ETFs (~10.7%):
• Semiconductor ETF → 3.88%
• Uranium & nuclear ETF → 3.43%
• Clean water ETF → 3.36%
Note: The current weight in individual stocks is higher than I’d like because I already held them before building this portfolio. My plan is to gradually reduce that exposure in the short to medium term and focus more on index funds. I also hold the S&P 500 because I started investing there first, but later transitioned to MSCI World, so I’ll likely simplify that over time.
What do you think? Would you reduce individual stocks first or the thematic ETFs? Would you stick with just MSCI World + emerging markets?
Thanks.
