I have a very well established 10 gallon guppy tank with the exception that I didn’t put enough rocks on the bottom (I’m a newbie learning along the way!).
I got a free 20 gallon tank with rocks and decided to move them over (all guppies are safe, not moved over yet!).
I set up the tank, and put in the lava rock they gave me (I have a bag of substrate to go next, then fine gravel to layer on top). Imagine my surprise when all the rocks started floating!!! Three hours later, still floating away and I’m not sure what to do now. 😂 Any advice? I’m on a limited budget (lost my job two weeks ago), so need it to be cost friendly. 😊
PS my established tank is clean, just moved it towards the window to make space for the replacement tank and it’s made the tank look very reddish!
