I was 41, around 152 lb, Gaining weight without understanding why. Always tired. Blood work looked normal. Bloating, anxiety, poor sleep… it just kept getting worse. started thinking it might be hormonal or perimenopause related.

Now I’m 45, around 128 lb. Over time I cleaned up my diet, added strength training 3x/week, and tried to stay consistent. That helped, but it always felt like a struggle.

In the last 60 days, something shifted. Down around 6–7 lb , but more importantly it feels easier. Less food noise, less bloating, more stable energy. Not perfect, still figuring things out but finally feels sustainable. total loss is one thing, but the real change is how I feel day to day.
