Looking at a 2002 DL 1000 with 90K kilometres that’s been on the market for a little while, but very recently reduced to $1000.
I would have to fly out and drive it back home about 1000 km.
It sat over the winter, but the owner test drove it, and the only thing wrong is that the rear brake doesn’t work. (but who uses it anyway lol)
I know how to work on bikes and I could make roadside adjustments if there were problems.
Is this a terrible idea?
