So a manager reached out to my professor telling him about an opening on his team and asking for recommendation. My prof recommended me. I reached out and she told me to apply through the company portal. After two days I received a rejection. I told her and she said it is strange because she asked HR to directly pass it on to her. She said she will follow up. At this moment I am waiting but I have no clue what is happening and it’s weird.
