I used to feel like I was preparing for interviews, but then I’d get into the actual call and realize my answers were way too long, vague, or not really tied to the role.

The biggest issue was that normal prep felt too generic. I could Google common questions or rehearse answers in my head, but that didn’t really show me whether I sounded like a strong fit for the specific job.

So I started experimenting with AI mock interviews that were based on my resume and the actual job description instead of random interview questions.

That ended up becoming the basis for a tool I’m building called Zeno Insights. It runs a realistic mock interview based on your resume and the job you’re applying for, then gives you an evaluation at the end.
