Large, flying stinging insect found in east Baltimore, MD (Canton / Brewer's Hill area).
Approximately 3/4 inch in length (it curled up after death; larger while it was alive). There are several of them that have been seen in about a 4-house radius on my block. My best guess is a Yellow Jacket, but it seems larger than Yellow Jackets I've seen in the past. Any ID assistance is appreciated!
