Sat Evening May 2nd performance. Frank is in bed with Brad and says “There's no crime in giving yourself over to pleasure.”
Someone in the back of the balcony calls back “Unless you’re Jeffrey Epstein”
it made the WHOLE AUDIENCE groan. Brad stayed in character, but you couldn’t help but notice a look of disgust run across Luke’s face. They took a beat and continued with the scene instead of acknowledging it like most of the other callbacks. Most callbacks seemed to come from the same guy the whole show. Maybe they should keep those “don’t be an asshole” signs within reach for audience members trying to showboat the performance? Is this an original response? It seems to have caught everyone off guard.
Really enjoyed the show, but it’s weird leaving Rocky Horror and remembering the narrator as your favorite performance. Still had a lot of fun, it has so much potential!
