Have I reached endgame for small EDC lights?

Have I reached endgame for small EDC lights?

Which of them do you own? And what am I missing in the collection? What other brands to aim for? (The rabbit hole never ends)

Wurkkos FC11C: The easy to recommend light

Fireflies X4: Yes it is Fireflies, very high quality, got the lantern kit as well and it's fun. Goes from low moonlight to blinding bright.

Emisar D4V2: Compact EDC light from Hank! Aux LEDs, nice switch, optional tail magnet

Wuben X4: Yes, another X4. Has all the bells and whistles, red, green, blue, yellow, side lights, magnetic tail, rotation dial, tactical switch

Sofirn ST10: tail magnet, side magnet, red light

Wuben G5: Rotating head, side clip, rotating dial, tail magnet, basically a smaller Wuben X4 I feel

Skilhunt E3A: Good praises and recommendations for this. Uses just about any AAA. Who can resist 59.5mm of cuteness?

Tank007 E15: Super cute little keychain light! Uses 3 x LR44 button cells.

Like to hear your thoughts and welcome any questions! What do you think? What do you carry daily?

Dear flashlight community, I've been down the rabbit hole looking at multicolor lights and I genuinely can't decide.

Which one would you pick? Do you actually use the color channels regularly or does the novelty wear off fast?

I shortlisted a few lights, let me know your thoughts, especially if you own one!

Wurkkos WK40: 4 colors (RGBW), 21700, USB-C. Has a color fade/gradient mode

Skilhunt Mix-7 Gen 2: 5 colors (RGBW + UV), 18350. Stepless color mixing is cool but proprietary magnetic charging 😬

Skilhunt EC300: 4 colors (RGBW), 21700, USB-C + powerbank, 115mm.

Emisar D4K Triple Channel: 3 fully custom channels, 21700, no onboard charging. Can pick emitters!

Mostly want it for fun/camping/night vision use. Not looking for a dedicated thrower.

A few things I'm genuinely unsure about:

  • How does WK40 and Mix-7 compare? Anyone has both of them?
  • What 3 channels shall I get for the D4K triple channel for the most fun?
  • Any other multicolor lights? Including RGB side lights?
