I’ll try to keep it short, but I fly about 2-3 times a year and last August I flew American Airlines, and with the standard belt I could barely belt the buckle. I felt like I was spilling over onto the person next to me so I leaned over to the side the entire flight to avoid being a nuisance. I’m 5’7” and I weighed 270lbs at the time.
Currently, I weigh 243lbs. As I write this I am on another flight. Same plane and seat and the belt buckles easily and It isn’t tight at all. I normally weigh and measure myself, but those numbers don’t really mean much to my brain. But the feeling of sitting in a plane seat has been the most eye opening and helpful measurement of my fitness.
Anywho, I just wanted to share becuase I was feeling proud.
TLDR: plane seats made me fully realize how far along I’ve come on my weight loss journey
