Mixmix Cafe opened Saturday at 2240 Taylorsville Road, next to My Tindahan, the Filipino grocery (I think the two businesses have the same owners). Mixmix offers typical coffee drinks, baked goods and some sandwiches, but it also plans to sell Filipino desserts like halo-halo.

Mixmix wasn’t busy when I stopped by this morning, but I don’t think many people know about it yet.
