NBA 2K27 really needs a mercy rule. Too many games are clearly over early, and it just turns into people quitting while the rest are stuck waiting for the clock to run out instead of moving on to a better matchup.

A simple fix: if a team is up 21+ at halftime or 25+ at any point, give the option to end the game early. Comebacks are rare because most players quit before that even happens anyway.

Also, quitting should come with a bigger penalty—like not being able to join another City game until the one you left is finished. It would save time and make the experience better for everyone.
