Once you get to the point where you can read text in English more or less fluently, games become a rich source of variegated, easy-to-memorize vocabulary. If your game features great voice chats and memorable characters, you've just found a gold mine.

  1. Make a flash card for a new word you've heard/read in the game.
  2. Add an example sentence, which should be the one from the game. Include which character says it.

That's it. Combined with SRS magic, this method has so far been a boon for my memory!
