Transitioning to a claims adjuster role

I’ve been working at a workers’ compensation defense firm for the past 7 years and have developed a pretty solid understanding of WC laws, the litigation process, medical records, deadlines, and how claims move through the system. Lately I’ve become really interested in transitioning into a workers’ comp claims adjuster role. For anyone already in the field, are there any certifications, licenses, or courses you’d recommend obtaining before applying?
I’m located in California if that makes a difference. I’d appreciate any advice on the best way to break into the adjuster side of the industry.
