I originally got sick from Covid around March 13th 2020. Become one of the unlucky ones to get Long Covid.
One issue that has gotten progressively worse in early satiety to the point where half a Peanut butter and jelly sandwich is the most I could eat at once. My weight getting down to 102 pounds at 5ft 6inches.
I have always been on the skinnier side all my life, my weight was usually around 120-125 pounds before covid.
Recently started some Ashwagandha supplements (which may play a role in this).
I recently got big into Lemon flavored Oreo Cookies. So I started to graze on them through the day at work. Those little cookies add 75 calories per cookie and would have about 7 each day at work.
I also got big into Raisin Bread toasted on a pan with a tablespoon of Butter on each piece of bread. I would make a sandwich with Black Forest ham and a piece of Sharp cheddar cheese and Pepperjack cheese. I go through a stick of butter a week with this.
I have found since doing this my appetite is starting to be much better. I get hungrier quicker and starting to find myself be able to eat a bit more over time. Used to not be able to finish a Blueberry Muffin, maybe 3/4th of one. Now I can finish one and still have a cookie afterwards.
I'm curious if anyone else may have noticed this? Higher fat foods and/or using Ashwagandha supplements helping your appetite that Long Covid destroyed?
