If artists (for this example let’s use Paul) sell limited editions vinyl, cd, etc. how many items are sold?
Paul just released a new ‘limited edition’ store exclusive picture disc version of The Boys of Dungeon Lane, when I click on the link I get send to the official seller in my country.
I assume this is the same for everyone so that means they all get a certain number of the album, which means it’s sold all over the world and each store has to have at least a certain amount of copies right? Therefore I am curious how many albums there really are available, also because I’m in doubt to buy the album (I already preordered the green variant), I get pretty excited when I see limited edition but because I already ordered one I don’t know..
That’s what I like about Blood Records (I know they have a few bad reviews), you know how many albums are produced, which number you have and there will be no more made. I think that adds a little excitement to a ‘special’ release.
