• Astrid and Levi are criminally underrated.

• Ellie/Elsie: she is bland, hollow, and hasn't a shred of character. It’s embarrassing to see her as the protagonist.

• Aiden? He’s not sexy; he’s just ridiculous. His outbursts are over-the-top and nonsensical. It’s absurd that he plays the 'super protective' role and then doesn't lift a finger against Agnus, who nearly killed his girlfriend. His consistency is practically zero.

• Their trilogy was a mistake: one book was more than enough, or rather, it shouldn't have seen the light of day at all.

• Silver is the only true icon. People hate her because they don’t understand her. The truth is that Aiden ruined Ellie with his malice and inability to communicate, behaving far worse than Silver ever did. But obviously, it’s easier to blame the girl, isn't it? People only talk about misogyny when their favourite characters are attacked. 😘🤣

• Cole was a total failure of a character: watching your own girlfriend get beaten without intervening is the lowest point of the series, though low points are numerous here. 😉

• Friendships and Couples: The friendship between Kim and Ellie was pure toxicity. Kim sought comfort from her friend’s bully, and Ellie got together with Xender, who tormented Kim. They deserve each other in their hypocrisy. Silver should have been with Aiden, Kim with Ronan, and Cole with Ellie. Period.

The Bratva series wins hands down compared to the RES.

• Rei is the best character, and the place beside Kirill belonged to her. Adrian? Terrible, and hyped up by the fandom for no reason.

• The Lia and Adrian pairing is the most toxic ever written. Lia doesn’t love him; she’s just resigned to a miserable life, and you can see it even in the books about their children. She deserves better .

• Damian and Mio deserve a book of their own, . As for the children: Damian’s daughter should have ended up with Vaughn, and Glydon with Yulian. Killian is a character who adds absolutely nothing.

• Sasha and the tattoo? No comment—a level of trash I’d prefer to forget. She was much better off with Kyle.

• I would have liked to see more interaction between Kirill, Adrian, Rei, Damian, and Kyle’s father.

Despite this, Cec didn’t bother to clarify her own situation with Jeremy. When Annika finally found out, Cec had the audacity to act with total nonchalance, as if her relationship with Jeremy had happened completely by chance, even though things between them had been clear for a long time.!<

>!Furthermore, the decision to pair all the "Heathens" with elite British girls is completely unrealistic. This is a mafia world; a bit of narrative consistency wouldn't go amiss! It would have been far more logical for at least some of the Heathens to end up with mafia princesses or heiresses. Jeremy and Maya, for instance, would have been perfect. The "best friend’s sister" trope, combined with their strong personalities, would have created a much more balanced and compelling dynamic.!<
