Done with my 5 rounds of the Amazon loop yesterday.

Wednesday: 3 rounds

Thursday: 2 rounds

Loop 1 – Excellent. Got 2 LPs and 2 process questions. Felt very confident.

Loop 2 – Interviewer from another team. Honestly, great, I’d rate it 8/10.

Loop 3 (Bar Raiser) – He told me upfront he was the BR. The round was above average overall… he asked 3 LPs, I answered 2 really well, but one of them I did only “okay.”

This is the one that stuck in my head. I kept replaying it all night and couldn’t move on.

He was actually super nice and calm, but I was nervous because it was the BR round.

Advice: don’t stress about the Bar Raiser. They test you, but they’re not scary or rude.

Because of that stress…

Loop 4 – Just okay. I couldn’t concentrate properly.

Loop 5 – Surprisingly very good. Only one LP and mostly process questions. I gave strong answers here.

Overall… I honestly don’t think I cleared the loop, but I wanted to share a suggestion for future candidates:

Try to take all rounds in ONE day.

I thought having gaps between days would help me prepare better, but it actually made things worse. When one round goes bad, you carry that stress into the next day.

Also:

  • LPs are key.
  • Have strong follow‑ups ready.
  • I didn’t script stories — I just answered naturally.
  • Whatever happens, life goes on.

Huge thanks to the Amazon HR team.

They did a great job coordinating everything. Yes, responses were sometimes late, but in my case, they were honestly excellent and very supportive throughout the process.

And please don’t ask me the questions. I won’t share them for integrity reasons.

Good luck to everyone preparing. Do well, stay calm, and don’t overthink the Bar Raiser.

Hey everyone,

I recently cleared my initial rounds, and HR mentioned that my loop interview would tentatively be scheduled for May 7th. They said they’d confirm once all interviewers finalized their availability.

It’s now been about 9 days, and I haven’t received any confirmation yet. The portal still shows “under consideration.”

I sent a follow-up email yesterday to confirm if May 7th is still on, but I haven’t heard back yet.

I’m a bit unsure how to handle this:

  • Should I assume the interview is still scheduled for May 7 and continue preparing?
  • Or is this kind of delay a sign that it might get pushed?
  • I also have another interview next week, so I’m trying to plan properly in case dates overlap.

Would appreciate hearing from anyone who’s gone through a similar situation with Amazon or other companies. How long did it take for your loop to get confirmed?

Thanks in advance!

Looking for advice from anyone who’s been through this recently:

What should I focus on most in the final prep?

For a non-tech role, how deep do they go into functional knowledge vs behavioral (LPs)?

Should I spend time practicing SQL, or is it usually light/basic?

All 5 interviewers from same time ?

I am planning to prep Leadership Principles stories, but not sure how much weight to give technical/analytical skills.

Any tips, prep strategies, or things you wish you knew before your loop would be really helpful.

TIA
