As I posted earlier I passed out and nearly fainted because I went into anaphylaxis shock after being stung by a bee for the first time in my life. After I took a Claritin ready tab that was in my purse I felt good enough to go back out and dance for a while. By then I didn't have an idea of what time it was or who was on deck. I took video of myself dancing by the main stage and there is a song in the background that I absolutely need in my playlist can you guys help me figure out who it is and where I can get it? I waited months for this. Right before his set I was stung by a bee. I've never been stung by a bee before in my life so I had no idea that I was allergic. One minute I was fine and the next minute the muscles in my body started tensing up and they were really painful so I went to sit down. After that I started feeling extremely dizzy like I was going to pass out and the ground beneath me turned white I had to sit down immediately and be wheeled to the medical Bay all this is happening during the one set that I really wanted to see at FK. When they took my blood pressure it was really low. When I kind of came around a little bit I remembered some kind of sharp stinging feeling on my arm before all my symptoms started and remembered I had a Claritin ready tab in my purse that immediately worked and I was able to get back and enjoy the show but I had missed all of his set. The medical people kept treating me like an overdose and I told them that I hadn't done any drugs and they kept being really patronizing even after I told them I had been bitten. You would think that an EpiPen or something would be part of their medical training or offerings in the bay but they weren't. No matter how many times I told them I wasn't on drugs they just kept saying no judgment and continued being patronizing. I have never fainted before but I was really close. It was scary to wonder if I had been drugged and not know whats happening. It was annoying not to feel heard by medical staff. I get it that it's a festival and that people are partying and I'm sure they are thinking people are making excuses to avoid any type of legal issue but in my case that wasn't the situation. The extreme irony of the story is that I was dressed like a bee! On a side note I would just like to say that I think it's extremely tacky for one of the DJs that was playing inside to play Runaway like it's his new single. I don't know who it was that was spinning but it was around 6:50 inside the main building. He announced it as a new one that he was putting out. Eyeroll.
