a nursing student interested in clinical research and pharmacovigilance
Hello all, I am a second-year nursing student, very much interested in clinical research even before I started nursing. I'm thinking of getting into clinical research after a few years of experiencing bedside nursing. I'm just exploring different nursing careers apart from direct patient care, and recently came across pharmacovigilance and found it interesting. I'm not planning to get into it yet, but I'm interested. Does pharmacovigilance need a degree in pharmacy or medicine? Or is it something that a nurse with a postgraduate degree in pharmacology can do too? I tried looking it up on Google, but the answers differ, and I couldn't find a credible source. Thank you in advance!
