I’ve posted before but new feeling brings questions and maybe some words of encouragement. Every night last three nights I’m more lucid than I’ve been this week. I’m still tremoring/shaking, feels like someone took an electric live wire to my nervous system. I feel like I did when I didn’t have them. But, I’m still taking my 20mg. For reference I took 20 for well over 8 years. Great, no issues. Tried to drop half a dose last week, terrible idea. One day 10mg went to take it the next night had a massive panic attack left work haven’t been back to work since unfortunately. The following morning called my doctor, told me to take another 10mg so I’d even to 20mg and take it again night after next as 20mg. Why am I experiencing so many adjustment symptoms if I only dropped a dose for a day and a half? I have hydroxyzine 25mg now, I hope it settles the pain I feel most of the day in my nerves b/c they are shot. Any advice, encouragement? Thoughts? I know I’m getting better each day, I know I need to be patient, just nervous.

So I am 27, I started re adjusting to Citelopram officially a week ago. They gave me hydroxyzine and trazodone. For anxiety and sleep. Please tell me this gets better or I’ll adjust quickly since I took it recently before? I’ve never had these side effects, I want to get back to work. It’s hard when normal seems gone and I need money. Anyone experience worse symptoms re adjusting? Or anyone know if hydroxyzine helps? So I can work? I feel weak, shaky, unwilling to eat I’m forcing myself at this point and my doctor said he won’t mess with them again that I should keep going. I went two days taking 10mg and went back to 20mg and this all happened…. I’m trying to apply for Oregon paid leave so I can get receive money to survive. I’m trying to go back to work as soon as I can function enough. I think next Tuesday would be great two weeks in. I just need reassurance it will be by then… please, advice?
Hello all, I am a 27 year old female. I decided to drop to 10 mg after 8 years to help with feeling withdrawn and numb second night I took it I had a severe panic attack. Called my doctor they told me to go back up the next morning after I took 10 the night before. So I took another 10mg the next morning and adjusted to my 20mg at night after 24 hours. I had been taking 20mg the day before dropping and everything was fine. Now I’m on day 7 of readjusting and the side effects are terrible. I feel like I went through 2 weeks of side effects in 7 days. I have nerve aches and pains today and I feel clear and not anxious. But, I’m really worried it’ll all go back to being terrible. I haven’t been able to work in over a week. I really want to get back to work. Any advice or tips or similar experiences? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I(a 27 year old female) have been on 20mg of citalopram for almost 8-9 years. It’s worked well. Relief for my anxiety and depression. But, recently have been having problems. Not sure if it’s related. I have long term vertigo randomly, constantly fatigued. Dealing with memory issues and recalling them are tough, panic episodes randomly and with every time I get sick. And constantly numb or blank. Feeling like not myself anymore. Anyone else experiencing this? I speak with my doctor tomorrow about it, might start the weening process.
