Factory or Modded Squier?
Picked up this Squier Strat and I’m trying to figure out exactly what model it is or whether it’s modified. Serial is CY180200499 (Crafted in China).
Matching painted headstock
Dual humbucker setup
Maple fretboard
Vintage white/cream finish with black guard
2 post trem bridge
I can’t tell if this started life as an Affinity/Bullet HSS that someone converted to HH, or if Squier actually made a model like this from factory.
It’s also quite resonant unplugged compared to other squier strats I’ve played, but tuners and hardware dont feel premium at all.
Pickups are also hot and sound decent, havent pulled off the pickguard to check what they are.
