Rebooked - Gulf Air -> Qatar Airways: A miracle yet Honest Review
Our original flights with gulf air was cancelled 2 weeks before travel due to the war. We had been rebooked with Qatar Airways Qsuites for the entire MAN -> CAN flight to our pleasant surprise (whole story I will post in the comments for context).
The seats were really nice and having been on both the A351 and 777. The A351 felt slightly more spacious. Starlink really changes the game in the air and we got given the F1 Pyjamas as well, so overall I really can’t complain at all.
However in true British fashion, if I must complain it was the hospitality. Maybe it was a one-off because our second leg was a lot better and the staff were attentive, but our first leg gave me a poor impression (I mean, I live in the UK so I empathise with the crew having to start their shift in this shithole). Staff was inattentive and the orders they took originally was half right. Maybe I’m being overly pedantic but anyone else had an eye-brow raising experience?
