I talked with my radiology oncologist today about my last pet scan and he said everything looked great! I'm so happy. It's been 2 years, 45 rounds of radiation, 7 of chemo, and 9 of immunotherapy. I see my chemo oncologist on Monday. He has said we might be doing either more chemo or clinical trials regardless of the pet scan results. So I know I still have more to go through. But to get a pet scan back that doesn't have new tumors on it is amazing!
