Truth about Caribbean schools

I just wanted to come on here and post the truth on all students looking into Caribbean schools. Everyone here says don’t go to Caribbean schools as if it’s ones first choice…. Don’t listen to them. If you wanna do medicine and couldn’t get into a US school then Caribbean is the move. I attend a Caribbean school and I’m on my last semester on the island. Here’s my advice

  1. stop listening to the people on this app that say don’t come to (whatever school they attend). The only people that come here and complain that their school is terrible are the ones who are struggling and would rather blame the system rather than themselves. There’s tons of people in their specific class succeeding who simply don’t want to post stuff here.

  2. almost every Caribbean schools are exactly the same. All of them require you to pass comp before letting you sit for Step. So my advice is, ask the schools what grade you need on comp to pass for that specific school and what’s their first time pass rate for comp.

  3. arguably the most important. The people who say don’t go Caribbean because you’ll never match, are genuinely living in the 1970s or just lying. Thousands of people from the islands match every year and so will you trust me.
