Hey guys. I was wondering if you guys could answer a few questions for me. I’m planning on pursuing a medical degree to become an APN.

And one of my class assignments require me on asking doctors/nurses/other people in the medical field on their experience. And so I chose to ask this sub. (Cause yk I plan on being a nurse too)

If you guys don’t mind can you answer me a few questions? Thanks

  1. What is your name (pseudonym if you’d like), your degree/professional title

  2. Do you guys have a job? Did you get it immediately after graduating? How long did you have to wait?

If so, where do you work at and what is your role?

  1. What would you recommend to new wannabe upcoming nurses like myself? Anything you would suggest avoiding? Anything you would change if you had to do it all over again?

  2. Your education history. Questions like, “What was your biggest problem getting to where you are right now?” (Excluding finance problems 💔), what are your best memories of it, your favorite/worse classes, difficulty. Where did you study at? Etc etc.

Might’ve missed a few but I think you guys understand the gist of it.

  1. What are some of the most unexpected/weirdest things you had to adjust to, to succeed in your field?

  2. What do you think is the most important thing someone has to have/know/be in order to be a GOOD nurse. Things like personality/empathy/sociaological intelligence etc.

  3. (This is kind of a fun one that I learned recently. Don’t have to answer it). Is it true that the best nurses/doctors/whoever, the best ones are a bit on the spectrum?

I learned this from my psychology teacher. She used to be a brain surgeon and has a son who is one too!!

If anything else you’d like to self insert please feel free to do so. Thanks a lot guys! I really appreciate it

Also it says no doxxing. But I’m just asking simple interview type questions. So I apologize if this counts as that
