Female literacy gap across Indian states is still massive.
Kerala continues to lead India in female literacy with rates above 94%, while Bihar remains among the lowest at around 65%, highlighting the sharp educational divide between states. Recent literacy and NFHS/PLFS data also show northeastern and southern states performing significantly better on women's education indicators. What do you think matters more here: government policy, social mindset, economic development, or something else?
