I'm looking to buy a refurbished corporate laptop like a Dell Latitude or a ThinkPad, as they generally have good specs for the price, and they are pretty resilient in my experience.

What's my best option? Everything besides the CPU can be upgraded, I imagine. So what's a good used laptop with a good processor, any recommendations?

Thanks

Looking for the cheapest laptop available to purchase for the sole purpose of playing hoi4 on the couch instead of on my gaming PC. Trying to spend some more time with the GF. I usually play with mods. GF will play some Nancy Drew or some shit on there too, probably.

I know CPU is most important, so maybe a retired corporate laptop with an i7 or something?

Any suggestions appreciated.

2012 XC70 3.2 152k miles

Looking for help deciphering these codes. The shop I took it to implied that they could be due to the qt of oil that needed to be added, but that doesn't make any sense to me, and I haven't had a low oil warning.

CEL came on a week ago, took it to O'Reilly had it scanned, came back with P2421 Evap Vent stuck open. That's what I asked the shop to fix.

Shop called me and said car was ready and they just added a qt of oil saying it was low and said drive it and see if the CEL comes back on. I have not had a low oil warning.

Can these codes be related to each other and does this really have anything to do with low oil?

Thank you.

I was quoted $2400 for repair of the three pictured small rust spots where the top of my windsheild meets the roof. Quote is also attached.

I understand they need to remove the windsheild to fully access the rust, and that is part of the reason why this is so expensive. But 33 hours of labor seems excessive?

What are my alternatives for repair? I am not concerned about cosmetic looks, I just want to stop the rust from spreading further and causing issues like leaking or cracked windsheild. Can anything be done on my own to stop the rust from spreading and making the issue worse? Could filling the cavity with wax or some type of rust preventer and then painting solve the issue?

The vehicle has 150k miles and is only worth maybe $4 - $5k , and I've just spent $3k on brakes and a new exhaust, so I'm not eager to continue dumping money into it. It's a shame, because the vehicle is mechanically sound and drives beautifully.

Any suggestions are much appreciated.
