Hey everyone,

I recently started a kids YouTube channel called Childdiz, focused on nursery rhymes, simple learning videos, and 3D-style animations for toddlers.

I’m trying to grow it, but I’m realizing this niche is super competitive (channels like CoComelon set a really high bar). I’m uploading consistently and working on improving visuals and songs, but subscriber growth is still very slow.

I’d really appreciate advice from anyone who has experience in the kids content niche or animation channels.

A few specific questions:

  • How do small kids channels stand out in such a saturated space?
  • Should I focus more on YouTube Shorts or longer videos?
  • What matters more for this niche: catchy songs, characters, or animation quality?
  • Is it worth posting the same content on TikTok/Instagram to drive traffic?
  • Any growth strategies that worked for you in the early stage?

I’m open to honest feedback, even if I’m doing something wrong.

Thanks a lot 🙏
