I’ve been researching and trying to get started, little late but better than never (30M), working on a mix of 30% FXAIX, 30% FTIHX, 10% FIREX, 10% FSAGX, 10% VSS, and 10% IAU. Is this too complex to start/too much overlap or what? A recent recommendation is to just do FXAIX/FTIHX/VSS/IAU to simplify. Starting out investing 300-500 a month and looking to be able to invest and forget about it until retirement. Appreciate any advice offered!
