I am a freshman at the University of Denver, and I’m currently working on a project for my writing course. My project is an ethnographic profile of the Survivor "Superfan" Discourse Community, specifically focusing on the game theory, the unique lexicon (resume-building, etc.), and how the community analyzes the show.
I was originally in contact with a social media personality, but they've gone quiet, and I'm in a bit of a crunch!
What I need: I’m looking to "interview" one or two people who consider themselves part of the superfan community.
- Method: This can be done entirely via Reddit Chat, DM, or email—whatever is easiest for you.
- Questions: I have 10 questions ready to go.
- Consent: My university requires a standard informed consent form. It’s a simple one-page digital form that takes 30 seconds to sign.
