I adopted Chilly about 2 ish years ago
The problem i had was getting him to actually trust me over that time and for me to be able to handle him
His past owner never let him out of his cage over the course of like 6+ years and only ever rubbed him through his cage
So i was just curious if i was able to do anything to let him trust me? When hes in the cage he lets me scratch him and he even sleeps on my hand but when hes out the cage he doesnt really like being handled or touched at all
Recently he has gotten better and let me scratch him and he sometimes popcorns when i do it a certain way (idk if thats a good sign or not)

Any advice?

Ive had him for about 2~ years not sure how old he is since we adopted him from someone else
His hair just started looking like this one day and im a bit worried if theres something wrong
Sadly cant get a better picture since he doesnt like being handled
