I was secretly hoping for a Project Hail Mary Mother’s Day card, and my partner delivered! I love it so much.
(To explain our last name is Pow and we love puns, hence Powject rather than project. And I play bass and have curly hair, so they added those things).
I posted a bit ago about how my ICD has gone loose on the left side and keeps stabbing me in my chest. That is still happening, and I just met with an eltrophysiologist yesterday who said the surgery to fix that would be to take the ICD, which for eleven years (and three ICD’s) has always been on top of my muscle right under my skin, and put it under my chest muscles.
Has anyone had this surgery? How was it? How was recovery? And did you like this placement better?
I’m nervous and don’t want an extra surgery but also am tired of my sleep constantly getting interrupted by metal stabbing me from the inside.
