[Leveling Up with the Gods] Am I the only one who thinks the action scenes are terrible?
I'm planning to drop this, because of the action scenes. I don't know if I'm being picky, because before I was reading this, I was reading Return to Player and Villain to Kill. And we can agree the action scenes in those manhwas are really good, especially the latter which I think was the sole point of the whole manhwa, fight scenes.
I think I got spoiled with those manhwas, that even if the plot is not top tier, the actions are nothing to picked at. But this one, fells. Am I the only one?
At the start, it's nothing bad as it's just him fighting with monsters and novice players. But once we reached the murim arc, the execution of the skills, the techniques, the fight scenes, even the basic movements was subpar. Its like the creator didn't even know how to do it right. It became apparent later on when he just execute slashing skills without explanation and then high ranking players with supposed high skills got defeated, by a single slash. It would make sense if its a technique or a skill, but just a single slash. and they're supposed to be expert of murim skills. But where is the execution of it? Nowhere. Its just simple movement of a sword.
Am I wrong for this? Am I being picky?
I looked for similar comments but haven't found anyone mentioning my same concern.
I mean it's such a shame, I love the plot and the possible plot progression, but it got slowed in pacing later on, and plus the dissapointing paid off from the awaited fights, I just have to think if I should continue.
